My main goals are for students to enjoy playing piano and to develop an appreciation for music. I convey my love for music at the lesson to inspire and motivate. I teach with flexibility and patience.
Note-reading, good rhythm, technique skills, classical interpretation and theory are taught.

I was awarded a grant for excellence in teaching from the Minnesota Federation of Music Clubs to attend the World Piano Pedagogy Conference in California.
